Cliff Bumgardner is a filmmaker, podcaster and bestselling author. As a director his work includes commercial advertising for top brands and original series and films, including When Giants Walked Here, a feature-length documentary chronicling the history of professional wrestling at Dorton Arena, which premiered on PBS platforms in 2024. 

He lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, with his wife Megan, their dog Sadie, an old typewriter, and way too many books.
